The Hollywood Film Awards kicks off award the Award Season.  The Awards "recognizes excellence in the established Hollywood community by bestowing awards to both in front and behind the camera talent. In the last 9 years, a total of 85 Oscar nominations and 32 Oscars were given to films showcased and/or to the honorees of the Hollywood Awards"

Previous recipients of the award include: Akiva Goldsman (2005), Eric Roth (2006),  John Patrick Shanley (2008), and Aaron Sorkin (2010).

You may recall Shadow and Act wrote about the script many moons ago.  You can take a look out our thoughts HERE.

Despite our thoughts it seems Mr. Tarantino's Django Unchained is off to the races as they say.

The Award will be given out October 22nd at the Beverly Hilton.

Django Unchained opens in theaters Christmas Day, December 25th.

The Hammer appeared in the original (and sequel) to this film.

I've seen the original=i've seen this film already

I doubt this film will make a lot of money......despite critics on the payroll shilling for it

Nostradamus? Are you sure your name is not Rip Van Winkle? You must have up in the mountains taking a nip from that keg of Pale Ale,and thus, fallen asleep for 20 years. In your nap time, Tarantino has become the Tyler Perry of his genre of films. Look around and pinch yourself b/c this film is real and it's going to BLOW UP, not flop. WOW! And btw, have you heard of a few actors by the names of Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington, Christoph Waltz and Samuel L. Jackson? Wake The F@#% Up!
