Taye Diggs will star alongside Julia Stiles, Melissa George and David Harbour, is a filmed adaptation of a 2004 Off-Broadway play titled Between Us, written by Joe Hortua.

I'm not familiar with the play, but Playbill describes it as follows: "The story centers on two men who have been friends since graduate school and who begin to drift apart as they find wives, have children and grow up."

The Hollywood Reporter calls is: "dark ensemble comedy exploring the bittersweet friendship between two couples who meet as old friends and discover their lives are tarnished by money, sex, success and children."

Dan Mirvish, whose past credits include mostly writing gigs on shorts and feature scripts, will adapt the play and direct the film as well, with production set to begin in May.
