I downloaded Lost Boundaries off of Karagarga (great quality) and watched it last night, but I wasn't impressed. It was a chore to get through. But then again, I'm not a fan of those types of films. Imitation of Life (the remake) was also quite painful to watch for me.

The monotone acting and dry writing didn't help either. The film just skirts around the issue of racism and thinks it's deep. I'd rather read the original story.

Looks like I'll be parked in front of the TV all day on the 16th. I saw Lost Boundaries years ago and have been dying to see it again.

Surprisingly, I've seen 7 of these, all quality films. I'll be checking out the ones I've never watched for sure, they sound good.

Intruders in the Dust sounds good. Think I'll skip Lost Boundaries. Just saw Pinky again for the first time in years and still can't tolerate that movie.

  • JMac | January 9, 2012 12:21 AM

Yeah, Sidney's the only reason I can watch it more than once. When I channel surfed to it the first time I thought it was Gone with the Wind. Then SP popped up so I couldn't change the channel, lol.

Also surprised they're not showing Band of Angels. Seems like one of their black history stock films. Maybe next month.
