I doubt this needs an intro at this point, given how much we've talked about it on S&A... but if you're only now just joining us, feel free to search the site for all our previous The Last Fall/Matthew Cherry posts; There's a lot to catch up on!

And we now have an official first tease in the form of a teaser trailer for the film, which I embedded below. And if you haven't join the film's Facebook page, and check out the website which was launched in July HERE:

Matthew says he plans to premiere the film on the film festival circuit, beginning early 2012.

For now, here's a glimpse of what's to come:

The music is good but doesn't fit the trailer. Probably better if it was instrumental. Good cast but i'm lukewarm about the story.

    Looks good!

The trailer is all the more impactful because of the Filmmaker Diaries I've read from Mr. Cherry!

I am curious to see if they will stay with Illustrative poster concept when the film is released.

I am wanting for posters that either"Illustrative" or relay in photography the message of the film rather than just portraits of the actors.

Looks good. The music adds to the mood nicely. What's really bringing me in is the notion of retiring at the age of 25 and living chk to chk. It demolishes the image of all NFL players are rich.

Can't wait to see this! :)

The trailer itself exceeded my expectations. Wow! I love the song in the trailer. I think this film is going to have a great musical score.

It looks like a well shot and interesting film with a premise rarely dealt with. I'm keeping it on my radar. :)

A new concept in black cinema with mainstream actors...can't wait to see it!! So nice to see something where people can relax and just enjoy without being emotional traumatized.
