Terrence Howard (seemingly competing for the title of hardest working man in Hollywood) just continues to pile on the parts, somewhat quietly too. The man works consistently. He stars in at least 8 projects scheduled to be released in the next 12 months.

Add this one to his list of upcoming films - a thriller titled A Girl And A Gun, which Terrence will actually star in (compared to his primarily supporting roles in the other projects).

Set in LA, A Girl And A Gun will center on a hustler named Ian, with big Hollywood dreams that he isn't having much success realizing; all that changes when he intervenes in a mugging attempt, and gets sucked into a world of intrigue.

Of course Howard will play Ian, the hustler, and he'll be joined by Juno Temple, Luis Guzman and Christopher Walken, in a project that will be directed Filip Jan Rymsza, from his own script.

Scheduled to start shooting this fall, A Girl And A Gun is being produced by Brent Travers, Rymsza and his business partner Liz Federowicz, via their Royal Road Entertainment production company.

It certainly won't be the first time Howard has played a hustler with dreams...

Jamie Foxx sums up Terrence Howard's acting quite accurately. One note. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPIDBEaoov4

Unpopular opinion, I'm sure, but Jamie Foxx can't tell me about anyone's acting. He is a very skilled impressionist but just a so-so actor to me. There's never any depth to his acting or characters. Terrence seems to be a jerk in real life and has that warbly voice, but I find him ten times more watchable.

Despite all the disadvantages people of color face in Hollywood, Howard would have had more leading roles if he didn't constantly put his foot in his mouth. Talented as heck (rarely seen him get a bad review) but he seems to have a lot of issues/demons to sort out.
