"The Black British Filmmakers Guide To Success" Panel at BFI In March

Nadia Denton, the former director of the BFM International Film Festival and the author of the book The Black British Filmmaker's Guide to Success, will discuss, along with a few experts, on how filmmakers can fund, market and distribute their own movies.

The lecture will take place at the British Film Institute at the Southbank Centre in London on Saturday March 17th starting at 11AM as part of BFI's African Odysseys program and Tim Reid's Legacy Media Insitiute.

Ms. Denton will be joined by several guests including Reid, Emily Kyriakides, programme producer of Lighthouse/BFI Shorts, Marie Berry, director of the Film Industry Commerce Association, film director and Legacy Media Institute fellow Nosa Nedion, and social commentator Lisa Bent.
