CG apes aside, I can say that this one actually one of this summer's most entertaining flicks, in my not-so humble opinion...

    Out of all the big budget features this year, this was the one to see.

    Film was off the meter. Really dug it.

    Expect a best visual effects oscar. Guaranteed.

    Some have even said that Andy Serkis (Cesar, also Gollum in LOTR) should be nominated for best actor.

    You are right on. This was one of the better films that came out this summer. For all the CGI, the main character ape, Cesar, was complex and real at the same time.. The story was quite interesting. I think I saw it three times. I really liked it.
