As Tambay stated earlier...the King of Soul James Brown would have turned 78 today. Although singing was his forte, he did appear in The Blues Brothers, Doctor Detroit, Miami Vice and Rocky IV. You can hear his music on various soundtracks including Black Caesar, Eye of the Tiger, Good Morning Vietnam, How To Be A Player, Doctor Dolittle, Everybody Hates Chris, Spider Man 3 and more.

Dule Hill, co-star on the USA network series Psych, welcomes 36 today. The stage and film actor's impressive resume credits include the Broadway play Bring in Da Noise, Bring In Da Funk, Sugar Hill, New York Undercover, All My Children, Cosby, The Jamie Foxx Show, Men Of Honor, She's All That, The West Wing and Holes.

Actor Ron Canada turns 62. The former Baltimore newscaster has appeared in countless films and television programs including Spenser For Hire, 227, Star Trek: The Next Generation, A Different World, Melrose Place, L.A. Law, Hangin' With Mr. Cooper, Weeds, Boston Legal, The West Wing and The Shield among others.
