Canadian actress Lorena Gale would have turned 53 today. Her long list of film and tv appearances include The Butterfly Effect, Smallville, Traitor, God Bless The Child, 21 Jump Street, Camp Candy, The Commish, The X-Files, P.T. Barnum, The Chronicles of Riddick, Things We Lost In The Fire and Battlestar Galactica where she starred as "Priestess Elosha" for four seasons. Her play, Angélique, the story of executed slave Marie-Joseph Angelique, was the winner of the 1995 duMaurier National Playwriting Competition in Canada.

Actor Sean Nelson hits 31. The Bronx native is probably best known for his performance in the 1994 film Fresh co-starring with Samuel Jackson, Giancarlo Esposito and N'Bushe Wright. His additional credits include New York Undercover, Homicide: Life On The Streets, Sisters, The Corner, Their Eyes Were Watching God, The Gospel, The Taking Of Pelham 123, Premium and Law & Order.

I had no clue she was dead, R.I.P. She was a good actress.

And Sean Nelson, what an underrated actor! I truly enjoy his performances.
