Janet Jackson welcomes 45 today. As a child actress, she's appeared on Good Times, Different Strokes and The Love Boat. She went on later to appear in Fame, Poetic Justice, Nutty Professor 2, Why Did I Get Married?, Why Did I Get Married Too? and For Colored Girls. She recently signed a deal with Lionsgate allowing her to direct and produce her first feature film.

Actor Marc John Jefferies turns 21. The New York native first appeared in the Halle Berry film Losing Isaiah. Since then, he's appeared in New York Undercover, Cosby, The Practice, Stuart Little 2, Brown Sugar, Third Watch, Fatherhood, ER, Get Rich Or Dye Tryin', Dexter, Notorious, Treme, Yelling To The Sky and Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son.
