Stage and screen actress Anika Noni Rose welcomes 39 today as well. The Connecticut native received a Tony Award in 2004 for "Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical" for her role in the widely acclaimed Broadway show Caroline, or Change. Her impressive film and tv credits include Third Watch, Dreamgirls, The Starter Wife, The No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency, The Princess and the Frog, For Colored Girls and The Good Wife.
London native Naomie Harris turns 35. The classically-trained stage and screen actress has appeared in Runaway Bay, White Teeth, 28 Days Later, Dinotopia, After The Sunset, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Miami Vice, Ninja Assassin, Blood and Oil and most recently The First Grader. Her next upcoming film will be Bond 23.
Rosie Perez welcomes 47 today. The Brooklyn native made her first feature film appearance in Do The Right Thing.
