How fast time flies; It seems like it was just yesterday when the series debuted, to the excitement of many.

Since then, the series has been led by strong ratings, as well as cast additions, including Jill Marie Jones and Amandla Stenberg, culminating in tonight's 2-hour season finale, which Fox calls "epic," as sacrifices are made, worlds collide, loyalties are tested and the town of Sleepy Hollow will never be the same again!

I predict record ratings for the episode, which begins at 8/7c, tonight.

From co-creators/executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (the Star Trek and Transformers franchises, as well as Fringe) comes the adventure thriller Sleepy Hollow. In this modern-day retelling of Washington Irving's classic, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to find that the world is on the brink of destruction, and that he is humanity's last hope, forcing him to team up with a contemporary police officer (Nicole Beharie) to unravel a mystery that dates back to the founding fathers.

Orlando Jones also co-stars.

Ahead of tonight's all-new episode, Fox has released a short promo, which is embedded below:

An okay season-ender. Lots of cliffs. Great ensemble acting. Granted, as with MOST scifi/fantasy shows, suspension of disbelief is a requirement. It is just a matter of to what degree do we suspend. LOVE the Sleepy Hollow 'mix' in casting and interaction. My favorite line in this one: "Waaait for it…". Bummed at having to wait til September for the next season. At least it will HAVE another season. Time to catchup on my dvds/Netflixes til my next set of faves come back.

What a let down.Way too many commercials, just when I start getting into it,another million commercials. Also, too many things going on at once with some details missing. It seems to me like they shot this long story and then just kept chopping away at it to fit all the commercials.Depressing and now I have to wait till Sept. To see what happens. Not excited, just not what I wanted.
