Tonight: Sheldon Candis' 'LUV' Makes World Television Premiere On BET

On the heels of the successful debut of BET Premiere Cinema's original movie, Being Mary Jane, the Network will air the world television broadcast premiere of Sheldon Candis' LUV, which stars Common, and introducing Michael Rainey Jr.  

Exclusively sponsored by the 2013 Toyota Avalon, LUV debuts on BET tonight, August 7th at 9PM ET/PT with limited commercial interruption.

Candis' feature film debut, which made its debut at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival in the dramatic competition section, was acquired by Indomina Entertainment, and saw a limited theatrically in the USA earlier this year.

The film's official synopsis reads:

An orphaned 11-year-old boy is forced to face the unpleasant truth about his beloved uncle during one harrowing day in the streets of Baltimore.
