Unfortunately folks, tonight's live podcast will have to be rescheduled due to an unforeseen circumstance. Long story short, S&A podcast host Monique is actually in the hospital now after taking a bad fall on her way to a film screening. Her foot is being checked out for a possible fracture. Don't worry, I had a chance to speak with her and she's still in good spirits.

So the podcast will take place SUNDAY at 3:00pm/est. We'll still air our interview with D. Channsin Berry and Bill Duke regarding their film Dark Girls, the black film industry and more.

Also, the following Hot Topics are still slated:

-We'll continue the discussion on Dark Girls
-Do blacks in the film industry (actors, directors, producers, etc...) exacerbate the problem concerning lack of diversity when they avoid the "burden of representation" issue?
-What's your "Must See" television show?

So join the S&A crew (Monique, Cynthia, Sergio and Tambay) SUNDAY at 3:00pm/est and call us at (347) 215-8777. Please go HERE to listen and log into the Blogtalk chat room. Until then...

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! My ankle's not broken, just badly sprained. I'm getting use to my crutches but in great spirits!

I hope you get better Monique!

Oh and my must see fall TV show would have to be the new Showtime TV series starring Don Cheadle (can't think of the name right now).

Get well soon Monique. In the meantime you can do what my sister did when she broke her toe a few months back: put your kids through the biggest guilt trip they've ever experienced :D
