The fourth and FINAL season of Treme premieres Sunday, December 1st at 9pm, only on HBO.

I must admit that this is one of those critically-acclaimed dramas that I just haven't been able to really sink my teeth into, although I'm determined to do so, and I plan on revisiting it ahead of season 4's debut, starting this week!

Fans of the acclaimed post-Katrina New Orleans-set HBO drama, created by David Simon and Eric Overmyer that premiered on April 11, 2010, have less than a month until the long goodbye begins.

Clarke PetersWendell Pierce and Khandi Alexander all make up the series' ensemble cast of many, playing musicians, chefs and other residents, all attempting to rebuild their lives, and all returning.

HBO has released a trailer for season 4, which is embedded below:

Fantastic show. No small feat that David Simon, and his numerous collaborators through the years, have managed to craft three of the best shows (Homicide: Life on the Street, The Wire, and most recently, Treme), ever, in the modern era of television.
