No intro necessary for this one I'm sure... trailer for one of the 50 movies Dwayne Johnson will appear in over the next 24 months - G.I. Joe: Retaliation - which also stars Channing Tatum, Adrianne Palicki, Byung-hun Lee, Ray Park, Ray Stevenson and Walton Goggins.

Synopsis:

The G.I. Joe team faces off against Zartan, his accomplices, and the world leaders he has under his influence. The movie is set for release on the 22nd of June and you can see all our coverage of the movie here.

    G.I. Joe was a hit cartoon back in the eighties. The generation that grew up on this show are in their late 30s/40s by now. Why are movies like this made to cater to teenagers? I never understood this rationale.

    I'm curious: In action movies such as this, does the writer come up with the out-of-this-world action sequences first and then write a story to string them all together?

    Bruce Willis is like in everybody's movie, eh? I liked the first film more than I thought I would. Look forward to this one, too, maybe for a rental though.
