Here's the first trailer of the VH1 original documentary titled Planet Rock: The Story of Hip Hop and the Crack Generation - a film which reportedly takes a hard look at the "development and popularization" of crack cocaine in hip-hop.

Narrated by Ice-T, the 2-hour film will air on September 18th, at 10 PM EST/PST, on VH1, and features interviews with Snoop Dogg, Cyprus Hill's B-Real, Wu-Tang Clan members RZA and Raekwon, and others.

I will watch so I can counter all the BS I am sure that all the white people I work around will bring into the office the next morning (which is like a ritual of sorts for them, when any black programming comes on the TV that appears controversial) :(

These rap artist actually think they are helping the situation they don't know they're being used, thats sad.
The first time I heard about this Doc coming to VH1 I knew it would set the black community back, what little community is left.
I am sure that there will be snippets of this doc in ad campaigns for the upcoming 2012 election.
