As was announced in February this year, TBS ordered 35 new episodes of Tyler Perry's latest sitcom, For Better Or Worse - the ensemble comedy based on characters from his Why Did I Get Married? flicks, starring Tasha Smith and Michael Jai White.

I'm not certain how many additional seasons that will be, but the series premiered in November with a 10-episode season, and TBS doesn't say exactly how this new order of 35 episodes will be spread out.

Regardless, another season (at least) of the show is coming, beginning... TONIGHT, Friday, July 13 at 9pm/8pmc on TBS.

Who's planning on watching?

A marathon of the show's 10-episode first season will be broadcast today, starting at 4pm/3pmc, leading up to tonight's season 2 premiere episode.

I should also add that, following the well-publicized tragic death of her mother Whitney Houston, and its aftermath, 19-year-old Bobbi Kristina was offered a part in the upcoming season of For Better Or Worse. The role will be a reoccurring one, playing the daughter of one of the stylists who works in the salon run by Angela Williams, played by Tasha Smith.

So maybe some added incentive to watch the show this season, if you were looking for one.

Some stats worth noting: For Better Or Worse ranked as basic cable’s No.1 sitcom of 2011, AND the No.1 show on all of television amongst African-American adults!

I'll let that sit with you for a minute :)

So as much as many of us claimed that we were not watching, obviously a lot of us are watching!

The TP money machine keeps on churning.

I agree with Troy the laugh track is overused. Its hard to watch the show because of the distracting laugh track that goes off every two minutes even when they are being serious. It makes the show seem ingenuine.

Attractive black couples do sell. How after no laugh track in the first season, TP over did it in the first two episodes. I wasn't willing to re-watch to count but may have broken any record of laugh track usage in the history of sitcoms.
