In a move explained by an insider as "an effort to give Common Law its biggest possible launching pad during the year [to] when USA's new shows have proven to have success," the premiere of the Michael Ealy-starring show, that S&A's Cynthia told us about here, is being delayed until summer of 2012.

This is actually a good thing. USA wasn't even going to pair it up with an established show, just release in in January and let it flounder with no lead-in. With a summer debut, they can pair it with Necessary Roughness or Suits or something and it won't have to compete with real, more substantive television.

Or even compete with their other top rated shows like ROYAL PAINS in Jan. Agree with ya Akimbo.
