What better holiday present to give our fans than to announce #Psych has been picked up for an 8th season! Happy holidays!

News announced via the Psych Twitter account, late last night.

The show never grew on me, so I haven't kept up with it. But this is obviously good news for co-star Dulé Hill, as well as fans of the series.

Are you one?

8 seasons is great for any series, in this age when networks cancel new series that underperform early.

OMG! I LOOOOOOVE Psych!!!! It makes me so happy when I hear the theme song! It's a total throwback to great 80s tv, complete with a real theme song and all...I smile from ear to ear every time I run into an episode while flipping through channels...I'm a total die hard fan!!!

So this must be the second half of season 7 coming up in January....I look forward to the inevitable episode with Keenan and Jaleel White. This is one of my favorite shows! So many inside jokes.....

DIE HARD FAN TO THE MAX. Own all the seasons; they get repeated viewings. Sorry the show didn't grow on you. It truly gets better and better. CONGRATS to James and Dule!!! I love it!

Congrats to them. I don't like the show but it's very commendable that they have lasted 8 seasons. Whow, time really flies. The best part is Dule has producer credit on the show for 30 episodes. Dule isn't the most well known actor but he has had steady work since the West Wing so congrats to him and the whole cast. Ive seen him in interviews and he seems very humble and down to earth. Never heard a bad thing about him.
