Hmm... this has my attention!

From writer & director Vishnu J. Seesahai, comes the feature-length film titled Candid.

Described as "The 1-Man-Movie," because it was written, directed, shot, acted, and edited all by one dude!

Not quite Dziga Vertov's Man With A Movie Camera, but a seemingly similar proponent for an avant-garde/experimental style of filmmaking, the film's synopsis reads:

A video voyeur stalks women in the city with a digital camera until he crosses paths with a beautiful model who harbors a dark secret … she is a serial killer.

I'm getting a little Man Bites Dog kind of vibe.

The filmmaker describes Candid as an excursion into the worlds of voyeurism and exhibitionism, as well as an exploration of reality-based entertainment, what he considers a disturbing trend.

Candid will make its world premiere at the Urbanworld Film Festival next month, and I'll be there to check it out in full; I'm curious enough.
