Fresh off the worldwide success of Fast Five, which has grossed over $600 million worldwide, and since attached to star in and produce a new MGM action/comedy titled The Machine, penned by the writers of Night at the Museum, Mark Sinclair Vincent, aka Vin Diesel will also assume both roles (producing and starring) in a thus-far untitled action-thriller from the writers of the 2011 thriller Unknown, which starred Liam Neeson.

The film's synopsis is still unknown (pun intended), though Diesel, via his One Race production company, promises an "intelligent action" thriller that will "translate to an international audience."

The project is reportedly being fast-tracked.

How as Unknown? I love Liam Neeson. He was awesome in (everything) Taken.

So was Triple X not intelligent action? LOL With 600 giblets and gravy worldwide, was Fast Five not translatable to an international audience?

Does international mean they'll shoot in the dead of winter, old-world meets new, raves, techno music blasting through high-action sequences amidst mini-rebellions in eastern European countries?

What does that mean - a bunch of nonblacks and nonblack looking black actors kicking ass in between computer hacking scenes? Can't wait.
