About That Popular 'Black Films Don't Sell ...Watch Anthony Anderson In Trailer For Truly Weird Film 'The Power Of Few'
And that seems to be the case for the new indie featuire called The Power of Few, written and directed by Leone Marucci, who only has a small list of credits, including two previous shorts, to his name.
The interesting thing about the film, which stars an eclectic group of names (Anthony Anderson, Christopher Walken, Jesse Bradford, Q'orianka Kitcher - who some of you might remember as Pocahantas in Terrance Malick's The New World, who also produced Power of Few) Christian Slater, rapper Juvenile, Moon Bloodgood a young unknown actress Tione Johnson) is that you can't exactly describe what it is in a simple logline.
However, it seems to be several different stories taking place in New Orleans that are somehow all connected, and in some way the Shroud of Turin is involved.
One of the main reasons why the film is rather odd is because the filmmakers made the film as an "interactive event" meaning that they actually had regular people from around the world vote on online as to scene changes, certain editing cuts and even character's names.
For example, voters online decided that Anderson's character in the film would be called Junkshow, and even where the tattoos on his body would be located.
So here's the trailer for the film which, as yet, doesn't have a distributor or a release date:

They can market this as a thriller based on the trailer...not particularly confusing or innovative...but maybe the film will be more than that

The actress's name is Moon Bloodgood, not Moon Bloordford, get it straight.
