The marketing campaign has begun, on the heels of NBC unveiling the mid-season debut date (January 7, 2013) for Deception (initially titled Notorious, and then switched to Infamous, and now will be called Deception).
It'll air on Monday nights, in the 10pm - 11pm hour, following The Biggest Loser at 9pm, until the return of The Voice.
Deception stars Meagan Good as detective Joanna Locasto, a female detective who returns undercover to the wealthy family she grew up in - as the maid's daughter - to solve the murder of the notorious heiress who was once her closest friend - celebutante Vivian Lawson.
The NBC series co-stars Laz Alonso, Victor Garber, Tate Donovan, and Katherine LaNasa co-starring.
Laz Alonso is slated to play NYPD detective Will Sacovitch, who recruits Good's character, his former flame, to team up and infiltrate the Lawson home - led by Victor Garber as Robert Lawson, and Tate Donovan as his son.
The new promo, which actually features very little of Meagan Good, until the very end, follows below:

The best the could come up with is going undercover as a maid? Is this the 1960's?

Meagan Good is possibly the worst Black actress getting work. Honestly. I think she needs to hang it up. Beauty isn't enough. I hope the other actors find work after this show flops.

Looking forward to checking this out for the mix of actors. In addition to Meaghan, yummy Laz and Victor Garber, I enjoyed Tate Donovan on Damages and was sad to see him leave when he did. This group could have interesting chemistry.

But she IS featured front and prominent on the poster for the show! Yaaay! :)
I hope this does exceedingly well! So happy to see Meagan and Laz on network TV. I'm rooting for them and the entire cast! :) #diversity #mainstreammedia #inclusivity

In addition to rooting for Meagan and Laz, I am also happy to see Victor Garber. I loved his work on "Alias".
