About That Popular 'Black Films Don't Sell ...Watch Kerry Washington, Dennis Haysbert In Trailer For Dark Comedy 'The Details'
Before we see her as Broomhilda in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, Kerry Washington will appear with Tobey Maguire, Elizabeth Banks, Laura Linney, Anna Friel and Dennis Haysbert in a dark comedy titled The Details - like Django, also a Weinstein Company property, scheduled to be released on November 2.
In The Details, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival this year...
When a family of raccoons discover worms living underneath the sod in Jeff and Nealy's backyard, this pest problem begins a darkly comic and wild chain reaction of domestic tension, infidelity and murder.
Tobey Maguire plays Jeff; Elizabeth Banks plays Nealy.
While Kerry Washington plays a character named Rebecca, and Dennis Haysbert plays a character named Lincoln, it's not entirely known how involved their roles are in the film's plot, although Kerry features quite a bit in the trailer, which follows below.
Haysbert also has Sheldon Candis' LUV out on November 9.

Now THAT is a good trailer! I'm loving Ms. Washington's career choices! I notice that she gravitates toward scripts that have a lot of sex, scandal (ha!), emotional rollercoasting and intricate, compelling storylines. I look forward to seeing Kerry and the gang when this film comes out.
