About That Popular 'Black Films Don't Sell ...Watch Michael Jai White, Lynn Whitfield As Mother & Son In Trailer For 'Somebody's Child'
Michael Jai White and Lynn Whitfield star in the GMC original TV movie titled Somebody's Child.
Whitfield and White play a terminally ill mother and her son, who let an ex-con into their lives. Byron Minns (as the ex-con), Nadine Ellis and Clifton Powell round out the cast.
The script, penned by Siddeeqah Powell, was a finalist in the 2011 American Black Film Festival's GMC Faith and Family Screenplay Competition.
Production took place in Wilmington, NC, with Gary Wheeler directing, with an August premiere planned.
GMC has released a preview trailer of the film, as well as broadcast dates - August 25 and 26th, at 7, 9 and 11pm, on both days.

This looks like a nice cast that they have put together for this film. Unfortunately, I don't have this channel but it looks interesting.
