Well just 2 more episodes to go, starting tomorrow night, with episode #6 titled The Trail, the flashback episode in which we'll learn a number of things, including how Olivia Pope's relationship with the Prez was started, and how Olivia's team was assembled.

Here's the synopsis:

As Gideon investigates Amanda's past, flashbacks recall the contentious primary race between Fitz and Sally Langston, who's now vice president; how Olivia and Fitz first met, on the campaign trail; and how each of Olivia's associates joined the team.

So I expect this episode will likely fill in some holes for us before the final episode of the season next week.

And as I continue to state, I'm hoping that some time between now and then, ABC will renew the series for a second season.

Also of note, Scandal season 1 will be released on DVD in a 2-disc set on June 12th, for $29.99. There's no mention of a Blu-ray release, although I'm sure that'll be coming as well, likely on the same date, or soon thereafter.

Also no word on extra features, if any.

You can preorder on Amazon right now, if you'd like. Click HERE to do so.

A preview of tomorrow night's episode (#6) was just released; watch it below, and don't forget to join us for the weekly S&A Scandal Talkback session on Friday!
