Watch South African Comic Short "E-lectricity"

Here's a new cute and comical short film made last year in South Africa, written and directed by Miklas Manneke, called E-lectricity. It deals with a poor township on the outskirts of Johannesburg that's thrown into darkness every night due to a lack of electricity. And what's worse, a paraffin shortage is threatening to make desperate matters even worse.

So it's up to a young nerdy inventor Walter Hiase (played by Thokozani Ngoma) to come up with a solution after many embarrassing trials and errors.

It's all very charming and eviromentally friendly as well.
