Lovely short documentary titled The Roper, from director Ewan McNicol, produced for Meet Me Here, an ongoing series of short documentary films on people, places and things.

The film tells the true story of Kendrick, a young calf roper the filmmaker met in Louisiana, who dreams of one day making it to the Las Vegas rodeo finals.
