About That Popular 'Black Films Don't Sell ...Watch Trailer For Rom-Com 'Miss Dial' - Opening March 12
Vanessa posted something about the film Miss Dial back last summer, following up on an item we had about the film in 2011, when the film was picked up by Phase 4 films for a multi-platform relase. Now it's set to open theatrically across the country on March 12th.
Written and directed by David H. Steinberg, the film stars Robinee Lee in the lead as "a consumer affairs rep who deals with irate customers calling about everything from the availability period of the “limited edition” cheddar cheese to whether it’s safe for dogs to drink the blue toilet water."
Well, this is until "one day she decides to play hooky from work by calling random strangers in order to reconnect with the world outside her apartment. And that's how she meets Kyle."
Along with Lee in the film are Gabrielle Union, Hill Harper, Dule Hill, Sam Jaeger, Sara Rue and Jon Huertas.
