Tyler Lionsgate

We've already told you that it's coming... Lionsgate and Tyler Perry are broadening their already mutually profitable relationship by launching a cable TV channel that was tentatively called Tyler TV. when it was first announced last summer, but in the below clip featuring the man himself speaking with Jay Leno, he's asked what the new network is going to called and he says he's thinking of calling it TylerVision.

Not sure whether he was kidding or being very serious. You can watch for yourself and judge.

He also reveals what kind of content we can expect, and assures Jay that his network won't be competing with Oprah Winfrey's OWN at all.

And towards the end of the interview clip, you'll find a new scene from Perry's upcoming Good Deeds, featuring himself and co-star Thandie Newton, which opens next week Friday.

The racist whites are jealous of Tyler Pyler. He is making millions mostly from blk ppl. If they could, they would find a way to take his fanbase by making a cheap ripoff of his movies. Even if he has a few mediocre movies, he single handedly made himself into a successful producer against many odds. That itself says a lot and many whites know that. Of course, ppl are going to promote him as he is leading black producer of now.

NO. Stop it. A Tyler Perry film IS a cheap knock off.

disgusted. he could use his resources to help out SO many emerging television and film directors, writers and producers; instead he feels the need to put his name on everything and wear all the hats. he's played the game, but at what cost? seeing a financially successful black man is not true revolution.
