The duo passionately educate a group of black college students on a number of topics including the effects of slavery, racism and the importance of transforming your community.
By the way, this video isn't professionally produced so you'll see shaky camera movements, and you definitely need to increase the volume, but it's worth viewing.
You'll be able to see Parker in Red Tails when it hits the screens January 20, 2012.

wonderful speech. As a community we need to promote movies/TV that work towards making our lives better and showing our rich history.

This lesson was great -- much needed for black students (and adults!). I had never heard of Brian Favors but am absolutely enamored with his passion, knowledge and sincerity in wanting to bring about change. Favors deserves much more press. I commend Nate Parker as well... great actor.
