Danny Glover & Gugu Mbatha-Raw (who you'll remember from J.J. Abrams' failed NBC series, Undercovers), co-star alongside Kiefer Sutherland and David Mazouz, in the Fox TV drama pilot titled Touch, written and produced by the creator of the once popular sci-fi TV series Heroes, Tim Kring.
The series centers on a father (Martin, played by Sutherland) who discovers that his genius son (Jake, played by Mazouz) "is communicating with him through a complex series of numbers and may even be able to predict events before they happen."
Mr Glover plays a character named Arthur DeWitt, a college professor who's an expert on "gifted" children, who works with father to reach his son.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw plays the *female lead* - a character named Clea Hopkins, described as "a social worker with Child and Family Services, who is evaluating Martin's living situation to determine whether or not his son Jake should remain in the home."
If Fox likes what they see in the pilot episode, and pick up the series, Touch will likely debut during the middle of next season.
