Here's the excellent and powerful short film Karim , written and directed by Carl Seaton (One Week). The silent film, though shot over two days, earlier this year, in L.A., was made as a response to the violent summer that Chicago experienced last year, and which had a profound effect on Seaton, a Chicago native.
In the film, which was shot with a Canon 7D for all you techno geeks out there, (I'm an Arriflex 35MM man myself); Seaton said that he: "wanted to shoot something without depending on dialogue as well as make the audience redirect their sympathies from prey to predator. "
Please tell us what you think about the film.

What a powerful piece of work without the use of dialogue. It was very engaging, and it took a turn that I was not expecting. The music set the tone, and the acting was superb. You are extremely talented Carl, and I look forward to viewing any project with your name attached to it. Thanks for sharing!

Superb, on so many levels. Great production value. Impactful and engaging content. Two thumbs up!
(Does Eddie show up again at the end, after his character shot himself in the park, what's up with that?)
