This is the only "indie" web series i look forward to, love Issa's work.

And LOVE how there was no explanation for that White woman wearing cornrows, like we should just accept it and move on-lmao.

@Lewis X I heard it just fine. And what if it did cost $1.99? Not everybody has a million dollars or even hundreds of dollars laying around to make a web series and a lot of people sit on their a**** using lack of funds as an excuse not to make stuff. I think this series is fantastic and it shows that you can produce quality, entertaining programming with a low budget, talent, lots of humor and enthusiasm. I just love the different characters. We don't need for everything to be perfect to make something worthwhile. I also can't wait for the 5th one! Get it, Issa Rae!

Guess there aren't technical standards anymore. She couldn't hire a sound person? Did this cost a $1.99?

A consistently funny series so far; I look forward to every new episode -- though I which she'd reach a little higher by actually refraining from using the n-word. I found it tasteless and distracting from an otherwise fresh --- and smart -- little comedy series. Sorry. (Actually, no, I'm not!)

This is seriously my favorite web series right now. I hope this becomes a springboard for Issa Rae. We definitely need to see more from her.

I love this. I can't stop laughing at her scene with the "soft talker," or, as she calls him, "this baby-voiced nigga"---absolutely hilarious. I agree with Lynn---can't wait for the next episode...
