Written and directed by Rel Dowdel, Changing the Game's cast includes Tony Todd, Sean Riggs, Sticky Fingaz, Irma Hall, Dennis L.A. White and Suzanne Douglas.

According to the film's synopsis, Changing the Game is "An epic tale about a supremely intelligent young African-American male who rises from the ferocious and oppressive streets of North Philadelphia to being a shining star in the lucrative world of high finance at Wall Street's most prestigious firm. However, he soon finds that the white-collar world is filled with crime and death just like the drug-filled hood he left behind. His only chance of survival is to fully integrate a mysterious gift from a slain childhood friend fully into the fabric of his character."

The film is currently in post-production and should be released sometime this year.

I fully agree with rgordon. This film definitely looks interesting and compelling, and I will definitely see it when it comes out.

Funny y'all "seen that before" folks. I wonder if you have the same animosity toward white-leading-man-struggles-to-find-his-true-calling-and-keep-his-(usually)-white-girlfriend-safe/happy-with-maybe-a-darkie-sidekick plots? If so, you must not watch a lot of movies, 'cause that's the basic plot of most of 'em - comedy, drama, animated, you name it. At least with this film, you're spending a few dollars on something made by Black folks.

    @ RB

Yah, It didn't look that bad in the beginning. I have a problem with films that deal with the same old "hood dramas" and trying to make it "out". smh
