No, there's nobody black in it (at least not in any of the starring roles), but I generally like Steven Soderbergh's work, and this is maybe one of the more intriguing films he's done. I don't think of him as an action-director, and this looks like an action movie - at least, from the trailer I embedded below. We all know that trailers do lie sometimes. For all we know, this could be some Ingmar Bergman-style meditative piece on life and death... but probably not! :)

I'm curious to see what Soderbergh does with the material, and the cast is certainly nothing to sneeze at: Ewan McGregor, Michael Fassbender, Bill Paxton, Michael Douglas, and introducing Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) superstar Gina Carano in her feature film debut.

A preview of the film was screened at Comic-Con (going on right now), which reportedly wowed audiences; and the first full trailer has surfaced, which you can watch below. Haywire will in theaters next January:
