About That Popular 'Black Films Don't Sell ...Watch Trailer For Suspense Film "Take Shelter" Co-starring Lisa Gae Hamilton
Here's the trailer for Take Shelter, a suspense film set to be released this October.
It's the story of a small town Ohio resident, Curtis LaForche (Michael Shannon), experiencing visions that drive him increasingly towards paranoia and the desperate urge to build a tornado shelter in his back yard. As they put a strain on Curtis' relationship with his family, the visions represent either a sign of his own mental collapse or a terrifying omen of something far greater.
The film stars Michael Shannon, Jessica Chastain, Shea Whigham, Katy Mixon, Kathy Baker and--if you don't blink--you'll see Lisa Gae Hamilton as well.
It was directed by Jeff Nichols.

Definitely seeing this. I love Michael Shannon. He's that Don Cheadle type of actor, can be a leading man, but flourishes when he's a character actor or the supporting guy. Doesn't care about being pretty & perfect, the "main" cat. Anybody who's seen him in BOARDWALK EMPIRE knows dude is a monster!
