Watch Trailer For Upcoming Sci-Fi Web Series "Osiris"

Earlier this year, in February, we featured a Kickstarter fundraising campaign for the upcoming 10-episode web series titled Osiris, described as a "science fiction... action/thriller... featuring mystery, espionage and gritty crime fiction."

The series centers on the trials of the title character, Osiris - a man who, when killed, is resurrected after exactly 37 minutes, every, single time. Essentially, he just won't stay dead; more God than vampire.

Just over $12,000 was raised via the fundraising campaign (impressive I think), and I'm glad we were able to help, even if it was just a tiny fraction of that amount.

The producers of the series promise "jaw-dropping cliffhangers" in every 5-8 minute episode, making comparisons to the likes of hit shows, True Blood, Lost and 24.

Osiris was created, written & directed by Donnie Leapheart, and stars Brad James as our hero. For the rest of the story, head over to the series' Facebook page HERE.

But first, watch the preview trailer below (I like what I see here, and definitely interested in checking out the rest of it... stay tuned):

A lot of interesting ideas coming out of the low budget web series. I just saw one called "CodeUltra" on YouTube ( Amazing what people are doing with low budgets.

The Pyramid Pictures team are clearly creating content with what I call the "CQ Factor" that's compelling & quality - short-form TV. I will promote their work as an example of how you should develop for this new broadcast age. Keep up the great work!

This actually looks good. A lot of webseries look bad but the production values on this are on point, so I can get into the story. I instantly saw a show.

Bookmarked and staying on top of this one.

Thanks for the heads up Tambay!

HA! I just finished writing that work produced by us within Hollywood are not progressive.

It is good to see something produced that is progressive (opposed to the comedies) and outside of Hollywood.

Congrats to the creatives behind this and Shadow and Act for giving it a voice.
