Avatar.
Skyfall is now only just $80 million short of reaching the exalted $1 billion total in worldwide b.o. grosses.

Secret to Skyfall's success is one master director named Sam Mendes. He elevated the Bond film from cheese to quality filmmaking. Javier Bardem too brought his A game as a villain to rival any from The Dark Knight series.
