Well, it's likely that people in the Northwest and East Coast had other things on their minds this weekend, than going to see movies... like shoveling out.

But that didn't stop others in the rest of the country; Meaning that Identity Thief was No. 1 at the box office, making well over $36 million, which is well over what anyone was expecting.

And who knows what the film would have made, if major sections of the country weren't hit by this weekend's monster blizzard?

Meanwhile, Django Unchained is now at $158 million overseas, and still counting, and has made almost $313 million worldwide. It will probably easily pass the $400 million mark very soon.
