Evil Dead

Filmgoers wanted to be grossed out this weekend with Evil Dead taking the top spot with $26 million.

The over-the-top gory remake of Sam Raimi’s original 1981 film performed well beyond expectations while last week’s No. 1 film G.I. Joe Retaliation came in second with $21.1 million.

The 3D reissue of Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park, which looked at first like it was going to be second this weekend, came in fourth with just over $18 million, while DreamWorks’ The Croods. still showing legs. coming in third, tying with G.I. Joe with $21.1 million.

But how did Tyler Perry’s Temptation do this weekend? As expected, it dropped by some 53% down to sixth place earning $10 million.

Usually Perry’s films take a significant drop during the second week of release, though over 50% is rather steep and goes back to the point I made last week that 1) people who really want to see his films usually come out the first week of release and/or 2) bad of word of mouth.

And during the past week, the film has been criticized many times for condoning rape and the whole final twist, which, even though it's been the source of outrage in several articles this past week, I still won’t reveal, since there are those out there who haven’t seen the film yet.

Whether those two factors were the cause of most of the negativity towards the film, you tell us.

1) Evil Dead  TriS $26,000,000
3) G.I. Joe: Retaliation Par. $21,100,000 Total: $86,663,000
2) The Croods Fox $21,100,000 Total: $125,800,000
4) Jurassic Park 3D Uni. $18,247,000
5) Olympus Has Fallen FD $10,042,000 Total: $71,116,000
6) Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor LGF $10,000,000 Total: $38,383,000
7) Oz The Great and Powerful BV $8,171,000 Total: $212,767,000
8) The Host ORF $5,239,000 Total: $19,665,000
9) The Call TriS $3,500,000 Total: $45,481,000
10) Admission Focus $2,054,000 Total: $15,373,000
11) Spring Breakers A24 $1,200,000 Total: $12,645,000

I liked Mr. Perry's movie Temptation, it was a little slow starting, but picked up nicely. Nice change for me as a moviegoer to see him do something very different. Nice choice in cast as well. Looking forward to his next movie.

  • Critical acclaim | April 8, 2013 2:08 PMReply

How did Shola Lynch's Free Angela do? That's the real question.

  • CC | April 8, 2013 9:28 AMReply

"Maybe transfer the energy from hating his movies into loving really good black films. There are plenty, they just aren't getting Hollywood budgets. And they need the attention way more than he does right now."

That comment is basically not true. There IS NOT plenty of really good black films. I know-I know, that opinion is not a popular one but it's true, until we pickup our game (across the board), Tyler will always rule the roost.

I mean, if my opinion means nothing, read between the lines of MILES ELLISON'S comment:

If there's such a thirst for quality, why are Tyler Perry movies making money? His movies make money because they're the kind of movies a lot of black people like to watch - [period]. His movies are hot garbage, but [many... the overwhelming majority ] of black people support them. That says more about the audience than it does about Tyler Perry. He's satisfying a demand. When people demand quality, it will be supplied. If people accept mediocrity, it will be supplied." `

Hmmmm.... I heard the message. Some black folks (obviously not all) accept mediocrity from many black filmmakers, calling their works "really good black films", yet they'd be hard pressed to name 10 REALLY GOOD black films from the year 2012... or in the last 10 years. **sheepish side-eye**

So the short answer is, Tyler is the best thang smokin' because in every area of the film-making process, his competition is "weak" - to say the least.

  • CareyCarey | April 8, 2013 10:04 AM

Mawon (a frequent visitor) said it right:

"I can see how his success frustrates many artists especially since people think this is proof that TP quality films are all black people want. But the truth is, you change Madea white and alter some of the jokes, and I bet you you'd see the same numbers among WHITE AMERICANS. The difference is a movie like that would never be held as an example of "white taste" the way TP movies are [in describing the mood and taste of the monolithic world called black folks]. That's what's annoying. The truth is he makes expensive soap operas whose simplistic themes and overly dramatic story lines have always been popular AMONG THE MASSES" ~ Mawon

  • scriptTease | April 7, 2013 11:04 PMReply

Black folk/people of color should be dropping 6-7 films a year at the box office, and if it wasn't for TP, we wouldn't have nothing. Now I'm trying my best to be one of the films shown every year, or at least every year and half. We need variety, and damn it, I'm trying to bring it.

  • ScriptTease | April 7, 2013 10:50 PMReply

Identity Thief still at the theaters..... Although I'm not a big Tyler Perry fan, still glad to see he's hanging on. Glad to see Evil Dead do well, I grew up with the original version, and was scared to death, but still watched.

  • Mark Waters | April 7, 2013 10:26 PMReply

    Thanks Tony

    Who is Will Packer though

  • Mark waters | April 7, 2013 9:48 PMReply

Sergio How much do you think Tyler Perry will make this year. Temptation should make 50-55 million, peeples should make 40 million and A Madea Chritmas should do 65-70 million. That will mean TP could make 150 million in Boxoffice returns alone this year and that would bring his total 800 million in 9 years. That is fucking crazy. What was the last black filmmaker to do that. The crazy thing is that does not count the money he will make from his three tv sitcoms.

  • ALM | April 7, 2013 10:39 PM

Mark, Will Packer did "Think Like a Man", "Takers", etc.

  • Tony P | April 7, 2013 10:14 PM

Right now Tyler is number 1 with around 662 million in Boxoffice returns since 2005. John Singleton is number with Around 465 million since 92. Spike Lee is number 3 with around 374 million since 86.

However when it comes to top black filmmaker a working today. Tyler perry and Will Packer are the tops. has all this info. Just put in the directors name. Hope that helps.

  • Evan | April 7, 2013 9:53 PM

McDonalds sells millions of dollars worth of food, does that make it good for you? Tyler could make a billion this year and he will still never be taken seriously as a filmmaker.

    Hey Josh,

Just like "Temptation" and any other TP film is something no one else but his church following cares about. Your point shit head? lol

  • Josh | April 7, 2013 9:27 PM

Well the good news is Spike Lee has a new film coming out this year called Old Boy. The bad news is that Nobody is going to see it because its a remake nobody asked for from a Director nobody but his small group of fans like.

I sure Tyler Perry will buy a ticket for the film just to help old spike out Lol.

  • Camron | April 7, 2013 9:15 PM

He lost me when he brought Spike Lee a has been who films black people want see for in it.

  • Josh peck | April 7, 2013 7:38 PMReply

Olympus Has Fallen has now made 71 million. Sadly the film cost 70 million so its not a flop but its not a hit however Fuqua should be happy. It pretty much made what it cost. The Call is at 45 million on a 13 million budget. It's a Hit. Temptation may have fell 53% but its Boxoffice total now stands at 39 million after 2 weeks. With a budget in the mid teens and a Boxoffice total of 55 million the films a hit.

Next up for next weekend is 42 and Scary Movie. What will win. We shall see.

  • Truth | April 7, 2013 9:17 PM

A hit requires critical success. All you have named is Tyler making money back for investors. Not the same. Nice try.

    KELEA | FEBRUARY 27, 2013 5:47 AM

What? LOL. But I see you didn't post your last name. Be sure to comeback and let us know your name so that when you have new projects they know not to post it so you don't have to endure the pain [or shake your head]. Without Shadow and Act I wouldn't hear about half of the projects that are released concerning black tv/cinema. You could ignore topics that you don't like, there certainly are enough entries here to do so. But [some] people only come to the posts that will generate negativity and complain when they post more of them. I'm not sure how how much more this site can "broaden" their range seeing as they cover international black cinema and everything from "chitlin circuit" plays to big blockbuster budget films. They even give advice to upcoming moviemakers and actors. I don't agree with every post [ or every comment] made here and it's obvious some posts (very few actually) are made to generate hits and a certain kind of discussion but I like what they are doing here. So many people rely on this site for black film news and exposure.

    SERGIO | FEBRUARY 27, 2013 8:02 AM
Thank you Kelela. I mean exactly what is "Done' [and Virgie] complaining about. We've been around for 4 years and 90% of what we do is reporting about black films and TV and other details such as casting. Has she even looked at the the last few days of casting news for black actors or offered a "positive" comment? There's been quite a number of them. If she's so thin skinned about being an actress I suggest she ought to re-think being in this profession and find something with less angst.

And maybe Virgie could start a conversation on the day to day post of up and coming black filmmakers, instead of complaining about this one.

Ding-Ding-Ding-Ding.... "ladies and gentlemen, lets get ready to RUUUMMMMBLLLLE!"

Micheal Buffer is holding the mic accompanied by the not so attractive ring girl, Sergio Mims. Micheal belts out his signature introduction while Sergio struts around the ring carrying the sign

Commotion erupts outside the ring. "BOO... GET OUT OF THE FKING RING". Bottles and rotten eggs fly through the air.

Although Sergio wouldn't reminded anyone of a Hooters Hostess, that's not what pissed-off Tyler's fans. They're just feed-up with S&A's penchant of throwing shade on Tyler Perry. So, although this may not be Ali vs Frazier, nor Pacuiao vs Mayweather, this is the super-colossal, humongous-megatropolis, monumental event of the year. It's the Rumble in the Shadow and Act Jungle... 59th Edition: Tyler Perry Stans vs The Undersized Critical Film Watchers.

First, the preliminaries: CAM vs. SOUR GRAPES.... The fight begins: Cam throws a vicious uppercut that's heard in the upper deck... "I know what the fuck you are talking Sour Grapes dip shit". Sour Grapes retaliates... "Is that all you got, check again asshole. Give it a fucking rest. Ya boy is a HACK and the world knows it ". CAM shoots back with a low blow... "you still crying lil Bitch"

DING-DING-DING... the judges stop the fight, it's a draw... they're both pricks.

But WAIT! This can't be... entering the ring is the most bizarre scene since Mike Tyson bit off Evander Hollyfield's ear... OMG! It's Roger Ebert and a black chic who doesn't appear to be his wife. She's wearing the name tag "JASMINE". She grabs the mic "Ladies & Gentlemen, I know this is about to fk y'all up, but I just left Tupac, Elvis and Biggie, they said they're tired-tired-tired of hearing y'all argue over this same ol' dumb shit, so before ol' Rodger made his bed at his new cabin in the sky, they sent him back to get this shit straight. Tell 'em Roger, tell 'em what you know. Rodger stands and says "no offense to black folks and I have a black wife, but Tyler Perry is a terrible freakin' black filmmaker. And that's all I have to say about that. So please excuse me because I have to get back to my new room and new roommate, I'm worried about him. He was in the wine cellar when I left, so he might have been a little drunk, but he was talking about everybody getting along? I think his name was Rodney King? Then again, maybe he's simply an S&A reader? Anyway, see you later you black alligators"

  • Truth | April 7, 2013 6:23 PMReply

Rotten Tomatoes has the audience at 73% and the critics at 17%.

The film is a hit financially because it made its money back but a FLOP critically which is consistent. Only his church going sheep care about his films and even they are getting tired of his usual formula.

  • Truth | April 7, 2013 10:21 PM

Actually they do. Last week he didn't make number 1 and this week it made less, being number six. Thanks for pointing out the obvious.

plus the critics are shitting on it so it could make 500 million next week and it means nothing really. The film will be forgotten by May.

  • CURTIS | April 7, 2013 9:23 PM

You said Tyler fans are getting tired of his films yet you have zero proof. Let me help you out.

I said Temptation is on its way to being Tyler Perry's 4th biggest hit out of all his films. After two weeks at the Boxoffice it's at 40 million and now on its way to 55 total. If his fans are becoming tired of him like you claim then why is Temptation his 14th film about to be in HIS top for highest grosser. Boxoffice number don't support your claim.

  • Truth | April 7, 2013 8:28 PM

How is it in the top four when above it says it is 6th and FALLING? And again, His fan base would support him pissing in a bucket and call it a masterpiece. No surprise there.

Mainstream doesn't give a fuck thus the 53% drop. Spin it however you want. lol

  • Curtis | April 7, 2013 6:32 PM

If his fans was getting tired then I do not think 9 years and 14 films 20 plays and 3 soon to be 5 tv shows later his movie Temptation would be on track to make 50-55 million making it in his top 4 films. His fans like fans of other people may love all of his work but tired of TP they are not.

  • The Real Sam Jackson | April 7, 2013 6:08 PMReply

Me and 4 other friends saw Temptation this weekend and like most of his fans we really liked it. ending felt rushed but still liked it.So yes I am one of those millions that helped make Temptation a HIT. Get over it. It's done and I am happy.

  • scriptTease | April 7, 2013 10:56 PM

"Cant we all just get along"

  • Um No | April 7, 2013 8:32 PM

CAM. Actually you and the other Tyler whores are saying money is what makes it a success. If money is what matters, then the success is modest. We are talking critical success. Can your brain understand that? lol

Ya boy has yet to experience it. Thus why he is too scared to show it to critics before the release like REAL filmmakers do all the time. Save the bullshit.

  • Cam | April 7, 2013 6:53 PM

The Haters are funny as hell. Now the amount of money the film make don't matter its all about the boxoffice placement. That just made my day. In the real world its all about the money vs the production budget. In the real world Temptation is another TP Hit. You haters are going to half to do better than that.

  • THE REAL SAM JACKSON | April 7, 2013 6:40 PM

    To REALL

A hit is not what place a movie is on the boxoffice chart. A hit is if a movie makes more than it cost. Temptation cost around 17 million and on track to make 50-53 million. Its simple math. Only a fucking dumbass like yourself would think a movie floped because its not in the top 5. That is not how Boxoffice works.

Take your ass back to math class Dumbass Bitch.

  • Really? | April 7, 2013 6:18 PM

A "HIT" doesn't drop 53% and out of the top five films in one week dumbass. You TP butt lickers twist logic better than a Republican! LMAO

  • Cherish | April 7, 2013 6:02 PMReply

I just want to apologize for contributing 13 bucks to the $10 million Tyler Perry earned this weekend. I really do know better, truly I do. But it was Family Movie night and Auntie Winnie was visiting from Concord, NC and I couldn't be the only one bowing out. But wow, this was not only terrible but one of his most irresponsible. He's digressing. Also, even some of his most die-hard fans in our groups left shaking their head and not too thrilled.

  • Mark & Darla | April 7, 2013 6:01 PMReply

Well since Tyler non-fans were flabbergast at Tyler last weekend earning, all they have left is how much Tyler will drop in the coming weeks, pathetic.

  • Um No | April 7, 2013 8:34 PM

If millions of fans were rushing to see it, it wouldn't have a 53% drop and fell to sixth place (plus it was never number one).

You are kidding yourself but what else is new for a Tyler Perry apologist.

  • Curtis | April 7, 2013 6:11 PM

Sad but true. That all they got because they surly are not stop millions of fans from rushing to see his new films.

Well we knock each other down because were thirsty for QUALITY!

"While Tyler Perry is to be admired for creating an enormously successful cinematic cottage industry catering primarily to an underserved segment of the moviegoing public, the trouble with him is that he is a terrible filmmaker and even though his output is prolific enough to make Steven Soderbergh seem lazy by comparison, he seems to be regressing with each effort. With the exception of "For Colored Girls" (2010), which was not a very good movie but which at least demonstrated a recognizable streak of artistic ambition, his films are hopelessly amateurish affairs in which the only apparent direction for every aspect of the production — screenplay, performances, even establishing shots — seems to be, "Louder, Broader!"

    - Roger Ebert
Some of us are really going to miss you Mr Ebert!

  • Ghost | April 7, 2013 9:46 PM

His movies make money because they are the only ones out there for the most part. And since he is making money-why would any other studio bother to compete? SO no matter how bad the films may be-that is all that is out there and everyone else will go after other groups.

  • Bee | April 7, 2013 9:20 PM

Roger Ebert knocked it out of the park!

  • Miles Ellison | April 7, 2013 6:08 PM

If there's such a thirst for quality, why are Tyler Perry movies making money? His movies make money because they're the kind of movies a lot of black people like to watch. His movies are hot garbage, but black people support them. That says more about the audience than it does about Tyler Perry. He's satisfying a demand. When people demand quality, it will be supplied. If people accept mediocrity, it will be supplied.

  • Steve | April 7, 2013 4:33 PMReply

Can we just move on. I am so sick of this. Temptation is a boxoffice hit. great, so what, move on already. We as black people knock each other down way to much. If you don't like his films then way do you even care about the amount of money they make or what others think of them. If you are not paying to see his films then it is not your $$$ going into his bank account. To Tyler Perry fans you don't need to rub the success of Tyler in people face. If you love his work just keep supporting him and move on. Why must there always be a war on this site. I liked Temptation, I also liked Do The Right Thing, Set it Off, Eve's Bayou, Talk to you. I like what I like. Its clear that people like TP work or he would not be on his 15th film.

  • Thinkaboutit | April 7, 2013 4:23 PMReply

Ever notice that any post on this site about Tyler Perry gets a huge amount of comments? Yet films about other up and coming filmmakers don't? I'm not a tyler fan but i don't vehemently hate the guy. He just doesn't make movies for me. And since he's the only black filmmaker that can seem to get a reaction out of the black audience (for and against) hollywood just assumes that he's bankable (which he is). Maybe transfer the energy from hating his movies into loving really good black films. There are plenty, they just aren't getting hollywood budgets. And they need the attention way more than he does right now.

  • getthesenets | April 7, 2013 5:51 PM

Some of the people behind these unheralded films can learn a few things about marketing and promotion from Tyler. Promotion/Self promotion has as much to do with the financial success that TP has had. as anything. Same is true for Spike Lee.

Spike used to hustle movie related T shirts at "Black college age" events.
TP blew up on the gospel play circuit

Onus is on these under the radar film makers to garner attention for their projects/themselves .

  • Nadia | April 7, 2013 5:32 PM

Co-fucking-sign!! I was just about to type the same thing. Everyday on this site there are posts about all kinds of new and interesting looking films that are being made outside of Hollywood that don't get a single comment or very few. I wonder if folks are even reading those posts. All this energy debating Tyler Perry is wasted. Put it into films and filmmakers that really need the help and as you said, the attention.

Clearly the film is going to make more than its budget, only $17 million. Would be kind of pathetic if it was out for weeks and couldn't make $17 million. So that's a given. If that is a success for the defenders, then yes, your boy is a black Spielberg. Feel better? LOL.

  • Cam | April 7, 2013 3:04 PM

Last time I looked it is the church going, TP loving excuse makers that have made Tyler Perry one of the biggest black Filmmakers in hollywood today. Not critics. So haters like you may wait to prepare for yourself the year oftyler perry because with temptation, Peeples, A madea Christmas, Singles moms Club and 3 tv shows coming out this year Tyler perry is about to top Forbs list yet again well haters like you bitch and cry.

Poor baby don't be mad. TYLER perry still loves you. Aw, you still crying lil Bitch. LOL

I know what the fuck you are talking dip shit. The film got an A- Cinamascore and if you look at RT you can see to the upper right side what Audience gave the film. 53% drop is not great but its expected. What is great is a 50 million return on a product that cost less than 20 million. It's called secound grade math Bitch.

    Carry on you fucking sheep.

  • Rocket | April 8, 2013 1:23 AM

"Quality" is relative. Support is all that matters. TP's fans come out and spend money. Film making is a business first and foremost. Artistic considerations will always be a distant second. It is what it is.

  • VichusSmith | April 7, 2013 1:49 PM

First off, don't give a damn about Perry, either way. Secondly, whether he's a hack or not, all that matters is that people fill those theaters. His upcoming movie, the one with Craig Robinson, looks like SHIIIIIIIIIIT. Maybe he's lost a step. Who knows? I sure don't. Haven't really sat down for for a Perry film.

  • Carl | April 7, 2013 1:22 PMReply

Temptation is a hit for Tyler and Lionsgate so It does not matter anymore. I am looking forward to next weekend. We have 42 a movie I think looks great but nobody seems to care about and then We have Scary Movie 5 a movie that looks awful but was Directed by Malcolm D Lee the cuz of a once great director. What do you think S&A. I really hope black people support 42 like they do Tyler Perry and Will Packer films.

  • Kerry | April 7, 2013 1:08 PMReply

Also Evil Dead was awful. It will drop hard next week.

  • Kerry | April 7, 2013 2:56 PM

    To Dave

If the film made only 18 million total then no I will not be screaming because it would be a wash. Paying 18 million for something and only getting 18 million back is not a Success. Just like if you lost $18 and got $50 in return would you be worse or better off. What does me being a TP fan has to do with it. Fan or not Temptation is a hit and that is a fact. Also last time I looked both Tyler perry and Walmart are at the top of there games so the walmart strategy works. As old folks used to say don't fix it if it not broken. Also why the hell do TP films need a huge budget. 90% of black films have low budgets not just Tyler perry films.

So Kerry, if the film made $18 million, you would be beating your chest screaming about a success? Bar is set rather low but then again, you're a Tyler Perry fan.

Tyler's films will always make more than their budgets because they are always very low. Its a Walmart strategy.

  • Um No | April 7, 2013 1:52 PM

According to you, a drop for Evil Dead is bad but a 53% drop for Tyler is not that bad but a success because its more than than $17 million budget. That's stupid talk.

If that's the case, All of the films on that list are a success. Nice try excuse maker. lol

  • VichusSmith | April 7, 2013 1:51 PM

Evil Dead was very good. So there! :) It's horror, also (not a hard audience to please), so the drop will not be bad at all.

  • Kerry | April 7, 2013 1:47 PM

    To UM No

Point out to me where I said Evil Dead was a flop. I said it will drop hard next week like most Horror films with bad Word of mouth. The film is a hit because its already made by back its budget. Example Texas Chansaw 3D droped 70% in its secound week because of bad WOM but the film was a hit.

As for Tyler Perry its simple math. If you pay 17 million for something g and you get back back 50 million its a Success.

  • Um No | April 7, 2013 1:32 PM

Kerry...So a drop for Evil Dead would be a failure but a 53% drop for Tyler is a SUCCESS? How do you figure that exactly? Biased much?

  • Carl | April 7, 2013 1:23 PM

Evil Dead wasn't made for TP stans.

  • Kerry | April 7, 2013 1:07 PMReply

With Temptation, Peeples, and a Madea Christmas, Tyler Perry is looking at 150 million in Boxoffice in returns alone. I really don't think he or Lionsgate is crying over a 53% drop that is normal for Tyler perry fans. With an A- Cinamascore I am pretty sure TP fan heads are happy.

The real question is will black people support 42 because tracking is not looking great for that film.

  • Gail | April 9, 2013 3:19 AM

I feel like 42 is 20 years too late.

  • getthesenets | April 7, 2013 1:16 PM

42 was guaranteed to fail at the box office once the studio released a trailer that showed a pitcher throwing to Robinson's head...and the white character ACTUALLY being seen telling him to "TURN the OTHER CHEEK"

each trailer I've seen has been different since then.....

studio is having trouble marketing it

I wasn't going to see the film anyway, but someone BLEW it big time with the inclusion of 'TURN the other cheek" in the trailer.............MFers just saw Django, you can't sell that turn the other cheek no matter HOW much you run Jay'z's lyrics in the trailer

  • getthesenets | April 7, 2013 12:58 PMReply

TP's plays coming to town and his films being released in theaters are "events".

I've yet to meet a single person in real life who decided to go see a film or NOT based on what a tv or blog critic wrote or said.

TP unapologetically makes films for his core audience, and screening his films for some person who may not get some of the references, allusions, and jokes is a waste of time if you think about it. Just look at the recent S&A article about studio's reluctance to screen "Coming To America" after some nyc area(white) critics bashed it. This was at-the height-of-stardom Eddie Murphy and the film that, to many, was his BEST film.

I always felt that TP is/was right to not screen his films for critics. They don't validate his work, his fans do.

I have never sat through a TP project, but I definitely respect his F the critics stance. Also...the screeners sent out to "critics" are what becomes the "Hustle Man's" bootleg version of the film..released a few days before the opening...and if your films traditionally have stellar first week business.....bootleg's will take a HUGE bite out of that.

  • mawon | April 8, 2013 2:11 AM

He takes an "f the critics" stance because he's not interested in artistry-- just selling. You're making him out to be this persecuted everyman going against the establishment when the truth is he makes expensive soap operas whose simplistic themes and overly dramatic story lines have always been popular among the masses.

I can see how his success frustrates many artists especially since people think this is proof that TP quality films are all black people want. But the truth is, you change Madea white and alter some of the jokes, and I bet you you'd see the same numbers among white Americans. The difference is a movie like that would never be held as an example of white taste the way TP movies are. That's what's annoying.

  • Chris | April 7, 2013 12:53 PMReply

The drop for Temptation was expected. Most black films fall hard in there second week. It's funny that you did not mention that the film has made 39 million and is looking at a 50+ plus in the Boxoffice on a budget less than 20 million. making it one of Perry's top hits and his buggiest hit without him in the film. Then again this is S&A a site that wants him to fail but it is not happening.

  • Cam | April 7, 2013 12:43 PMReply

Sergio you do know Temptation is on its way to 55 million total right. That would make it it TP 4th of 5th best money maker out 14 films. Also 98% of black films drop of 5o% or more. It's nothing new. Temptation is in the Green.
