Wendell Pierce Heading To Network TV To Play Michael J. Fox's Boss In New NBC Comedy

Wendell Pierce has joined that regular series cast of the new Michael J. Fox NBC comedy series, which is inspired by Fox’s own real life and stars Fox as a husband and father of 3, living in New York City, and trying to handle the challenges of family and career, while dealing with Parkinson’s Disease.

Mr Pierce will play Mike’s boss, who's described as a slick, twice divorced man.

NBC has ordered 22 episodes and has set the series' launch date for fall 2013. 

The series was co-created by Sam Laybourne and Will Gluck, with Gluck expected to direct the pilot.
