One of the unfortunate disadvantages to being a TV actor is that, even if you're lucky enough to get a major role on a hit TV show that runs for several years, people tend to remember you as that TV character, despite whatever other roles you play.
Case in point - Jaleel White.
People are always going to remember him as Urkel from Family Matters, despite the fact that the guy is a hard working actor who has appeared in dozens of TV and film roles. But he'll always be Urkel (and the headline to this piece ain't helping either...).
So I present to you with White's latest film role as the teacher Mr. Todd, in the upcoming children's film Judy Moody and The Not Bummer Summer , which is coming out on June 10.
Don't blink or you'll miss him in the trailer. I mean that. DON'T BLINK! He appears at the 1:42 mark, and is gone by the 1:43 mark. I assume his role in the film is much larger, but it does look rather Urkel-ish... OOPS! I did it again!

Jaleel's series on Hulu, Fake it til You Make it is absolutely hilarious. Check it out. Don't add to keeping him in the Urkel box.

You do know he has been working on his series for Hulu for the past two years and did a SyFy movie with the Doctor from Star Trek Voyager-it just hasn't aired yet but is on DVD.
So it's not like he has fallen off the face of the Earth.
