Whoopi Goldberg has released the first two episodes of what looks like a new web series she's apparently been working on, that we've known nothing about, titled Rollin’ With Whoopi

In a nutshell, the show captures Whoopi’s daily commute into NYC for work, accompanied by makeup artist and hairdresser Karen Dupiche and Yancey Edwards, as they yap away in their Cadillac Escalade.

Sounds exciting doesn't it? I'm being sarcastic of course, but I'm sure this will appeal to some people.

In the first episode embedded below, the trio hashes out the meaning and spelling of the word “betrothed.” And in the second, Edwards eats while Dupiche shames him for doing so. Like I said, exciting stuff.

First the teaser:

And below are the first 2 episodes:

    Dear Whoopi,

I have never contacted a celebrity before, but after watching you on The View I have come to really admire you as a person. You are an innately kind and generous of spirit. I have enjoyed your talent through the years but now I really like you as a human being. Thank you for being you. Judy

It is at least as interesting as, Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" and it was picked up by Crackle for several seasons, so why shouldn't Whoopi's webisode have the same, if not better, success. Best of luck of to her.

I couldn't get through the first 10 seconds. This is unwatchable. Really lame. Who cares about her talking to her hair and makeup people -- people I might add, that the audience doesn't know (hence why should we care about them or what they think?) -- on her way to "The View," which has become a watered down, poorly produced version of it's former self. ...Based on that other S&A article about does the Oscar help one's career? Well, this sounds like something a Real Housewife would come up with, not an Oscar winner. I like Whoopi, OK, but she's never been a draw for me. I've never seen a movie that she's in because she's in it, etc.

She is clearly ripping off Seinfeld's CCGC, which is REALLY, REALLY good; funny, and very well produced. On his show, one really feels like a fly on the wall to the conversation. His production team does an excellent job keeping the cameras out of sight. Especially when Jerry and his guests are actually driving in the car. It's seamless. ...This looks like a thrown together hot mess.
