Will & Jada Pinkett-Smith and their Overbrook Entertainment production company is teaming up with Simon Cowell and his Syco Entertainment production company to launch a new international TV show that will find the world’s greatest DJs.
Deadline says the series has already been developed, and Sony Pictures Television will soon announce their broadcast partners for the live show in both the US and the UK.
"We have been working on this show for over a year and we wanted to partner with the right people. As soon as I met Jada and Miguel from Overbrook, I knew they would be our ideal partners. DJ’s are the new rock stars, it feels like the right time to make this show,” said Simon Cowell.
Jada Pinkett-Smith added: “This show will comb the world to find a new breed of talent..."
Another reality TV show for Simon Cowell who has made a cagillion dollars already, thanks in large part to his involvement in others. Maybe the Smith's (both musicians themselves) see the potential.
Can't say I'm all that interested in watching this though... but good luck to them.
