Will Smith (via his Overbrook Entertainment) has teamed up with J. Michael Straczynski and his new media company, Studio JMS, to produce a new television series, which is said to be currently in development.

The new series is titled Epidemic, but details on what exactly its story is aren't yet known.

The deal is all part of Studio JMS's new launch, which will see the multi-media company produce comic books, digital content, TV series, feature films and video games.

Straczynski’s past work includes writing/producing TV series like Babylon 5 and Jeremiah, and penning scripts for films that include Thor, Ninja Assassin, Underworld Awakening and Changeling.

When we know more about Epidemic, so will you. Although, with a title like Epidemic, we could probably make some guesses. I really doubt Will Smith will be starring in it.
