After checking up on it, it turns out that it is. There really is a TV show currently being taped called Ghetto Court with old time rapper Eric B (of Eric and Rakim) as the judge. I can't tell you anything more at this time except that the exec producers of the show are Eric B and Cassandra Cooper
And I have no information on when it will be on the air other than it will be "sometime this year". But it is being taped in New Jersey and supposedly they already have 25 episodes already in the can
And I have seen an actual on set photo of a show being taped and some set photos taken of the defendants testifying. Though I have to say that it looks like they're trying hard to look like a skit from In Living Color. So yes folks it definitely is a real show
But the more important question is, will you watch?

More "coonery & bufoonery" that will not amuse or entertain but is more than likely to
mortify most of us. Pass......

All your comments are what I would expect but maybe this show will have some social responsibility. Maybe it will show how a logical mind can solve problems of real life issues. Maybe the topics will start out as stupid and Eric b will infuse some intelligence into the argument. Make people really look at themselves and their foolishness. We can hope.

I think a more appropriate name for Ghetto Court is Cooning Court because that is exactly the type of shenanigans we can expect on this show. Now if you will excuse me, I will now go watch Bamboozled again for the 20th time and marvel at how right Spike was.

He can't just uh, make beats, tracks, produce, etc.? He's gotta do THIS? Sheesh!!!!

I'm betting this will air right after Judge Mathis, as his show has turned into quite a "ghetto court" in the past few years. Great programming for weekday mornings for the underemployed.

Perhaps by April 1st, we'll find Ghetto Court to be an elaborate joke? If this is indeed a real, show, I'd have to pass on this. So, I guess one needn't even be an actual judge to do one of these shows now?

OMG this is akin to watching a criminal state he won't rob again and then ten minutes later he is in jail again for robbery, on this same post many people stated their honest and accurate displeasure of these type of shows and we know how much damage they do, but here it is again!!! I can't fathom at all why, but I do know their is a base that will support these shows and we know who they are flat out!
