Zanzibar International Film Festival Set For June 18-26

The 14th annual Zanzibar International Film Festival is set to kick off on June 18 and continuing until June 26 in Zanzibar, Tanzania.

The festival, which is East Africa's largest film, music and arts festival, will screen some 71 films, not only from African countries such as Kenya, Namibia, Uganda, and Algeria, but also films from other countries, including the U.S., Israel, Germany, Italy and Iran.

Of those films, 46 will be in competition, including 6 world premieres.

The festival will also hold film production workshops, pitch sessions, panels on producing films for the global market and music concerts.
