Zoë Kravitz Signs Up To Star In Adaptation Of German Road Movie 'The Road Within'

Zoë Kravitz has been tapped to star in The Road Within, an English-language adaptation of German dramedy titled Vincent Will Meer, to be backed by Troika Pictures and Coup d’Etat Films.

Kravitz will star alongside Robert Sheehan and Dev Patel, in a story about a boy with Tourette Syndrome who goes on a road trip with two fellow patients from a residential clinic, to scatter his mother’s ashes in the ocean.

Kravitz will play one-third of the trio.

The original German film was the German Film Academy's picture of the year winner in 2011.

Gren Wells will direct the film from her own screenplay adaptation of the 2010 German road movie - her feature film directorial debut.

Kravitz can currently be seen in the sci-fi actioner, After Earth.
